Thermistor Applications Engineering Module

U.S. Sensor’s NTC thermistor probe assemblies are used extensively in HVAC applications, consumer appliances, medical electronics, food preparation, computer and industrial electronics applications. Many probes are capable of operating from      -65°C to +300°C under the most severe environmental conditions. Temperature accuracies to ±0.1°C and thermal response times as fast as 0.25 seconds are available.  The protective housings are constructed using various materials including stainless steel, copper, brass, epoxy and vinyl.  A wide assortment of lead wire and termination configurations are available as well. See our NTC Probes & Assemblies Product Guide for further information.

Probes And Assemblies Most of the standard thermistors and RTDs located in our web site are available mounted in special probe housings designed for temperature sensing under the most demanding environmental conditions. US Sensor's standard probe housings range in size from less than 0.020" diameter to over 0.375" diameter and are constructed from various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, epoxy, polyimide and PVC just to name a few.
